First and second chair trial experience and appellate work in federal and state courts, and arbitrations.  Extensive experience handling disputes for clients ranging from complex business disputes to individual actions, in such areas as real estate, intellectual property, telecommunications, bankruptcy, banking, insurance, and securities.

Works with all entities involved in the construction arena including owners, design professionals, contractors and sureties to provide counsel throughout the construction process, including contract drafting and negotiation.

Admitted to practice before the Federal District Courts of North Carolina and South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
