EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Allison is a native of Kirksville, Missouri.  Allison graduate from Purdue University with a business degree in 1998. 

After working in Warsaw, Poland, Allison attended Wake Forest School of Law where she graduated in 2002 with her degree of Juris Doctor.





After law school, Allison practiced family and general litigation with the firm of Helms, Henderson & Fulton, P.A., and in 2004 narrowed her practice with the national firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman.

On July 15, 2005, Allison joined with partner L. Stanley Brown in forming the Family Law and Matrimonial Department at Hamilton Moon Stephens.

PROFESSIONAL, CIVIC AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Allison is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar, and the Young Lawyers Division, and a member of the Charlotte Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys.

She is also a volunteer attorney for the Children's Law Center and a Guardian Ad Litem.
